has been filed against it, when Samsung and others are not allowed to sell their products just because Apple sued? Is there any collusion between the courts in the Netherlands, Germany and Apple Inc? Why one law for Apple and another for others? Has Christmas come early for Dutch and German courts with sacks stuffed full of iPads and Euros?
Was there mention of any company stopping trading? Sure, Samsung and HTC are continuing to trade, but not sell certain products Apple has targetted in Germany and Holland. Just wondering if anyone has noticed the bags of Christmas cheers arriving for the judges.

  1. SmartE says:

Samsung was prevented from selling its Android devices because some courts ordered the company to stop selling the product.

No court has ruled that Apple has infringed patents owned by HTC (bought from Google).

No court has granted an injunction to halt the sale of iPhones and iPads.

This might change but for now, Apple is free to sell its products in Europe.

technically it’s infringement over connectivity technologies HTC/samsung etc are moaning about over patients they bought from google, while apple are moaning/suing over hardware copyright infringement, not going to write rems about this stuff but i would like to point out that this is a good example of why copyright works against advancement.

it’s just a matter of who is more powerful between the competitors!

    AND!
what about Apple’s "patent infringements" against Samsung because there are several!

Because it’s good tech, millions of people already own them, those products already out there need customer support and backup as per warrantee issued with all Apple products, and finally … companies do not stop trading or manufacturing just because someone sues them. The law courts will decide the outcome / compensation in the end IF it is decided that there has been any wrong-doing.
