My parents are the ones who are per say uptight. I am not allowed to have a facebook or a phone. They have considered letting me get an ipad. I just need to really go reasons to push them over and let me buy it. Please don’t tell me that the ipad is stupid or reasons why i shouldn’t buy it.

Tell them if they don’t buy it that you will be even more of a closet case stuffed shirt candyass then they are now when you’re all grown up! Tell them you won’t even let your children speak without vouchers or tokens and that you are thinking that Amish people are freaking liberals who should clean up their acts!

Tell them that the iPad is arguably the most revolutionary devices of the generation. Apple’s idea for downloadable apps has created a whole new market for mobile technology and ALL phone manufacturers and computer companies are attempting to copy what they’re doing. Soon hospitals will be using medical apps to monitor the progress and vital signs of patients. It’s an amazing thing! Tell them that it would really mean a lot to you if they let you be a part of the movement.
