I have an iPad 2 and have been having trouble streaming YouTube videos. I have tried the open dns fixes and not using the YouTube app and going through safari but nothing has worked. I think I am just going to get a new router, I am on comcast and money is not a problem so if anyone could hit me with the best router they can find.
Thanks

Any latest router should do the trick.
Slow streaming may be caused by YouTube itself (Heavy traffic)
Your base internet speed (Comcast)
or other people using your internet.
But Linksis and Belkin are two well known companies for routers.
First of all, your ISP doesn’t matter when it comes to routers. Once the signal is on the ethernet cable coming out of the modem, it’s all the same.
As for a good router for an iPad 2, the iPad 2 is capable of 802.11n wireless, so to take advantage of that you should get an 802.11n wireless router. An 802.11b/g router would work, but wouldn’t be as fast.
The link below is to an Amazon search for wireless n routers, based on average customer review. The highest reviewed is made by Medialink, and priced at $50. I’m not familiar with that model, but it has 4 1/2 stars with 800+ reviews, so it looks like it’s probably pretty good.
