On January 30, 2013, in Q&A, by Kali J09a5

I just purchased an iPad for my freshman year of college and I need an app that is good for note taking. Doesn’t matter if it’s free or not. Thanks for helping

I’ve been using Evernote for some time and think it is easily the best. Not only can a note hold almost any type of information, it can even store files. It syncs to the cloud and then to any desktop or mobile device. It’s free for the basics, which will serve most people quite well, and very inexpensive to add all the extras, which I do.

I’d say the "Notes" app, you can email them, save them and put emoticons in. Or noteability.

I don’t know about the best one but I use one called N+otes and I’m pretty satisfied with it.
