Poll: Is the new iPad worth upgrading to from the original?

On February 10, 2013, in Q&A, by Mr. Jf1fee

I’ve had the 1st generation 16GB iPad + 3G since June 2010, and I’m on the fence about upgrading it to the new iPad. Are the new features enough to justify the leap, and do you think it makes sense to upgrade? Thanks iPad News Poll: Is the new iPad worth upgrading to from the original?

any tablet is totally unnecessary. just get a fucking laptop

Since I work at an electronics store, I would have to say yes, upgrade! lol

I have an ipad2 and I love it. My sister has the first one. I have used both and there aren’t many differences in them. The camera on the I pad 2 could be improved but other than that it is fast and does everything I need.

absolutely not. Only fan-boys would do that, but if you want to go ahead and waste $600.00 or whatever it is then by all means…………..

If you have the first generation it would be a pretty good upgrade! The new upgrade though gets heated up easily because of the graphics processor and uses a lot of battery. If you intend to buy the new iPad, always carry around the wall charger, you will need it! In short, yes!

Oh, for the person who commented about the iPad 2, the iPad 3 is the current version, with a 5MP iSight camera. I know the new iPad is much faster, and the Retina display is absolutely beautiful! Also, the 4G network can’t be beaten, it’s amazingly fast. My sister has a 32 GB iPad 2 3G and I have an iPad 3 on 4G, it’s definitely faster. And I use the camera more than I thought I would on my iPad, I never knew I would, and the iSight is amazing, I’m still in shock! It’s also a much thinner iPad, and the Smart Cover is so helpful, I love that it’s also a keyboard stand and also can be used to prop it up for Movies! It’s really up to you, I love my iPad 3!
