try these: 1. make sure your in range, 2. put your ipad into tethered mode. 3. check your internet max connection setting.
if the ipad cant scan for networks then that is where the problem is,nothing to do with the router.it appears you have turned the wireless off on your ipad somehow.not sure how to put it back on as i dont have one but it cant be that hard to find.
