Does iMessage work on iPad if you have an android phone and an Apple ID?

Getting an Apple ID is free. So you can register for free. After you got that, Can we connect the android phone to my Apple ID so i can message through the iPad?

    android phones don’t support Apple ID’s and iMessage.
